I am going to show you how to do it with Drive:įor the slave, you need to install the Cloud Station ShareSync package: To be able to replicate files and folders in another NAS, you need to enable them in either Cloud Station package or Drive Admin console. I have Drive installed instead and I use the Drive Admin Console instead. Configure the MasterĪccording to NAS documentation, you need to install in the host server (the server you want to copy the data to others – I will call it the master in this post) the Cloud Station Server package. In plain english: everytime you modify, delete or copy a file in your master NAS it will make a copy LIVE to your slave NAS.
It is especially suitable for long-term replication of data requiring frequent modifications, since all changes made after the initial sync will be synced in real time. It is a one-way/two-way sync with file versioning, It allows shared folders and shared folder privileges to be replicated between a centralized Synology NAS and multiple Synology NAS servers with a simple setup.

Loaded Teams to the mobile in the vain hope it would sync with Skype from there, but no joy. I can open Skype online, also from my (Android) mobile phone it does work, and have exported the contacts as a csv file, so the Skype profile is working. I decided to utilise Teams, and because Skype will not open, even though it is installed, the Skype contacts list is not available to sync. Did this a few times and removed various "hidden" folders and cleaned the registry and still have the same issue, Skype installs, appears to run, but does not display any content. I had an issue where Skype failed to open, uninstalled, reloaded, same issue.
